Join a cultural tour through Wiradjuri Country in Narrandera exploring Koori Beach and the bushland of the Murrumbidgee River. Learn about bushtucker and hear stories and songs with Wiradjuri Elder Michael Lyons. A special tour to see scar trees, ring trees, canoe trees, caves, fibre and food plants, and enjoy a BBQ picnic featuring bushtucker ingredients like emu egg, wattle seed cakes and more. Learn the significance of Koori Beach in Narrandera, how it was recently renamed, and its importance to the Wiradjuri Nation for its traditional food and cultural heritage.
